What to Do with a Recurring Candida Overgrowth

What do you do when you have a recurring Candida Overgrowth? It’s guaranteed to drive you crazy, and then some! Not only, is it awful to have a condition that just won’t go away and stay away; Candida Overgrowth has the potential to cause far more serious health problems.

Is there a solution? Yes. Is it simple and easy? No. How long does it take to get rid of it? Depends. It depends on a lot of things; not the least of which is how much time and effort you put into getting rid of it. Medication, diet, home remedies and natural healing, exercise, rest and stress reduction are all necessary. If you are Diabetic, you must also care for that illness. Relief from the recurring nightmare of Candida Overgrowth will not happen overnight, not even any night soon. But, it can happen; it will happen, if you work hard at it.

Candida Overgrowth is caused by a yeast or fungus; that due to use of antibiotics, has begun to rage through your body causing infections.

The first thing you need is a positive diagnosis from a medical practitioner, who will give you a prescription for antifungal medication. Take it all; take it as prescribed. If you still have symptoms ask the doctor if you can safely take another course of the medication; and take that as prescribed.

Now it’s time to add some weapons from your own arsenal.

Of course, as with any other health issue, diet and exercise are key. Your diet should be high fiber, with lots of raw vegetables and fruit, low in sugar and carbohydrates. You don’t want to give the yeast anything to eat that it likes, such as sugar. Drink lots and lots of water; you have to keep the nasties flushed out of your system.

Next, and doctors probably wouldn’t agree; but, get some over the counter antifungal medications to supplement, or use in an emergency outbreak, when you can’t get to the doctor’s office.

Everyone has a few things in the pantry or refrigerator that will help you get rid of Candida Albicans overgrowth. Number 1 is vinegar; real Apple Cider Vinegar raw, unfiltered and unpasteurized. Take at least 2 tablespoons 3 times a day. This stuff slays Candida yeast. It is full of natural enzymes that are one of the worst enemies of yeast; it eats them up. Try adding it to recipes or sugar free drinks or make a salad dressing with it. It’s also works on vaginal Candida or any external Candida by direct application. Dilute it with water and dab it on, put a cup in a warm bath and soak, or dilute and douche with it. It will not destroy the body’s natural pH or the good bacteria that fight other infections. Garlic is also full of these enzymes, eat lots; it makes everything taste good anyway. Eat lots of yogurt with live acidophilus cultures (must be live); these bacteria really eat yeast.
