Many moms are so busy these days that when it comes to getting dressed for work, they throw on the easiest outfit possible – a pair of black pants and a blouse or knit top. Third, while you are at the department store, take a look at their selection of pins and brooches. These little accessories have become very popular in the last few years, and are often overlooked by women as a great way to add a little “punch” to an outfit or suit. A beautiful pin or brooch looks wonderful on the lapel of a suit or on a plain sweater. They can be used to fasten scarves in place, as well. For those who are worried that pins will ruin their clothing with permanent holes, a quick search online will turn up pin fasteners that use magnets to hold the pins in place. Having a nice selection of 8-10 pins and brooches in your jewelry box will definitely help you to add a little pizazz to your boring pants and blouse combos every day.

As you can see, just by using a little creativity along with charm bracelets, scarves, and brooches or pins, you can add a lot of color and style to any plain outfit.
